Software development

Automate as much as possible and cut manual work.

We build tools sized for daily use in design practice, from sorting out requirements through to operation: Revit add-ins, Rhino/Grasshopper components, Dynamo scripts, Power BI dashboards, and automation of Excel and data aggregation and conversion.

Development is the last resort. We first check what Revit, Excel, and Power BI can already automate, and build in C# and Python only where they cannot reach.

We do not stop at the first release. Revit version updates, changing requirements, and handover to your team are covered by ongoing revisions and maintenance.

What we do

We first look at what the software you already have, such as Revit, Excel, and Power BI, can automate. Where it cannot reach, we build in C# and Python: Revit API, Rhino.Inside, Grasshopper components, Dynamo scripts, Power BI dashboards, and automation of data aggregation and conversion. We take on maintenance and revisions, not just the first release.

What you get

  • Add-ins and plug-ins
  • Power BI reports
  • Automation scripts
  • Source code and documentation

How we engage

  • Contract development
  • Ongoing revisions and maintenance
  • Co-development with your developers

Frequently asked questions

How do you decide between Dynamo and an add-in?
By who runs it and how often. Routine work run by one person is usually fine in Dynamo or pyRevit; features used daily by several people, or that need a UI and error handling, become add-ins.
Can we ask for a small automation only?
Yes. Excel aggregation macros or schedule exports that take a few days are welcome. Start small, expand if it pays off.
What is included in the deliverables?
Source code, built add-ins or scripts, installation steps, and user documentation, in a form your in-house developers can take over.
Do you keep up with Revit version updates?
Yes. Under an ongoing maintenance agreement we handle yearly version updates and API changes.
